YASIR MOA

The Norwegian music scene is buzzing like never before, and young, new talents are constantly emerging! One we predict to hear a lot from in the coming years is 22 year old Yasir Moa from Kongsberg in Norway. Yasir has been creating songs for as long as he can remember and his first love for music was conveyed through an old keyboard in his family home.

During the first years of his life, his family moved around a lot and Yasir and his four big brothers learned to entertain each other early on. He wrote his first lyrics when he was 12 years old and have since then created music more or less every day. His passion for music has always driven him, and he’s always had the belief that this is something he will be able to make a living from. Even in times when it was financially tight, he started playing on the street to make ends meet. Whether it was for rent, or for some pocket money, he sometimes went out strategically around midnight, when he knew people were generous and wanted to hear recognizable songs.

A lot has happened since then. Yasir has moved to Oslo, got a record deal and has already had several sessions with renowned producers and songwriters. His debut single titled “Jeg forstår” was released in January of 2021 and marks the official start of a future star on the Norwegian music scene. Look out for Yasir Moa!
